Prepare to climb the steps of history at the Gasparilla Island Lighthouse with the revised tour schedule! One of our favorite island icons is not only a pretty picture, but an inspiring look into the rich coastal history of Florida.

Join BIPS for an unforgettable journey to the top, now with NEW dates and times!

Check in early at the lighthouse on the day of the climbs for availability. Climbs can sell out quickly! $15 Adults and $5 Children under 12 yrs. (must be at least 48″ tall). Enjoy the beautiful view from the lantern room, 134 steps to the top! Take a walk in BIPS’ 7.4 acres of nature trails! Shop unique one-of-a-kind merchandise! All climb fees and merchandise purchases directly support BIPS’ historic lighthouses for future generations.

*Climbs are offered every 20 minutes as space allows.
*All climbs are weather permitting.
*No advanced RSVP.

Please follow a few safety rules to climb:
– Must be 48″ or taller to climb; babies are not allowed inside
– No heels or flip flops; please wear sensible climbing shoes
– Large backpacks and purses cannot be carried inside
– No commercial photography or drones
– No wet clothing; swimwear must be covered with clothing
– Must be physically able to climb 134 spiral steps to the top
