Southwest Florida Market Update Q2
Luxury real estate remained fast-paced in the second quarter of 2021 in and around the Boca Grande area. This year, visitors stayed well into the summertime, which is traditionally much slower. Home sales continued strong, and in Charlotte County alone, were up 312.3%.
Michael Saunders & Company ended the quarter number one in sales volume for both the luxury and general residential market. We garnered a 25% market share for luxury residences, homes $1 million and above, and a 14% share for the general market.
Southwest Florida Market Second-quarter results proved that it was a great time to sell across Sarasota, Manatee and Charlotte counties, including Boca Grande.
Two months of inventory was experienced by sellers in the luxury market on average. Altogether, consumer confidence has continually been high in the strength of the market and the projected outlook.
Stats indicate the migration of people into the Sunshine State will keep agents busy for some time to come. The growth of our region is incredible with the infrastructure of the surrounding area continuing to develop and grow to meet the needs of the people who aim to call the Gulf Coast home.
